Reports in the Italian report suggest the 24-year-old is likely to agree and sign a contract sometime next week, with Inter urging the midfielder to stay at the club for the long term and position him as a future captain.
The club is ready to offer a five-year contract. That will also increase wages to match the core of the team as well.
The 24-year-old is already under contract with the club until 2024. And the report goes on to add that he is living one of his two dreams at Inter.
