Everton could be reduced to just 14 first-team players for this weekend’s clash with Tottenham Hotspur after James Tarkowski picked up an injury. Tarkowski has

not played in the Premier League for Everton since joining from Burnley in 2022. But has picked up a hamstring injury and will be assessed ahead of the weekend.

That leaves Sean Dyche with a further defensive headache, with all three right-backs also out.

Captain Seamus Coleman and James Garner are recovering from calf injuries, while Ashley Young was sent off in the opening game of the season. And ทางเข้า ufabet defender Jarrad Branthwaite is also nowhere near a return.

“Jarad’s got to wait a little bit more. He’s not anywhere near it yet. A few guys are close to being back. Seamus is close, Garner is close and has just started training with the team,” Dyche said. “Tarkee is a challenge

so we will have to see for the next game. All we know for sure is right-back because Young is suspended as well.

“Youssef Chermiti is a bit longer, Patterson is a bit longer, it’s still an ongoing challenge and we’re not really able to solve the problems with money so we’ve got to play with the players we’ve got and hope they come back fit and stay fit.”

Jake O’Brien, signed from Lyon, could start in the game while right-back will be a matter of choosing between Mason Holgate or a youngster in Roman Dixon.
